About : Applications
The 2009 Crown Point Festival will take place in the first week of December 2009. All applicants from 2008 will be considered for this year's festival as well.
This year, we have made the decision to accept applications only from New York City based artists. While we cherish and value the submissions and artists with whom we have previously worked, in order to pursue our goal of fostering and contributing to the New York City community of artists, it has become necessary to focus on local talent in the festival. The reality is that there are still not enough opportunities in New York City for emerging artists and as a small organization, we don't have the resources to transport and house artists outside of the five boroughs.
Decisions will be made by September 1st.
