Chris Ehrmann (Artistic Director) is a native of Silver Spring, MD and a graduate of Rochester Institute ofTechnology where he received a Bachelor of the Arts in photojournalism with a minor in political science. He is the creator and host of the acclaimed New York based show Karaoke Killed the Cat, which the years since itsinception has not only toured nationally and internationally, but has as revitalized the night life scene in lower Manhattan. He is currently Deputy Photo Editor at Blender and afreelance creative consultant to other renowned publications such as XXL, Spin, BlackBook and The Royal.He is a freelance gallery and book curator, most recently curating the show “Looking for Levity” incollaboration with Splashlight Studios. In 2004, he served as a producer and music curator to the Fall Collection. He lives in the Bronx with a crazy dog named Stella who will eat anything in her path, including sand and chicken bones.
