Aeed
Albert Aeed was a founding member of the Boston-based Custom Made Theatre Company, for which he served as Director of Development in addition to directing plays. Aeed also served as Assistant Artistic Director for the Providence-based New England Repertory Company, where he taught Advanced Scene Study with Tom Hunter. Aeed has been a guest artist at Clark University, where he directed the Visual & Performing Arts Department’s mainstage production and moderated the Student Director’s Round Table for the Clark University Players’ Society. Aeed co-wrote the screenplays for Better Things, Exit Love Story and Noir Desir. He Assistant Produced Better Things and is currently working with director Kevin McCormack to complete the screenplay for The Man Who Wasn’t (working title), which Aeed will also Assistant Produce. Directing credits include: Shepard’s Sympatico, Mamet’s Bobby Gould in Hell, Schnitzler’s La Ronde, Strindberg’s Comrades and Wilde’s Importance of Being Earnest. A former member of the critically-acclaimed Jean Cocteau Repertory acting company, Aeed performs regularly on the New York stage and has appeared on Sex and the City.
